Super T...that is sweet. I would love to hear how that sounds with the Lakland pups. Any clips on your myspace page yet?
Thanks...Chris

Here's a picture of my upgraded JO5 with white pearl PG from Jeanie's and an Audere JZ3.
The Audere is just what the doctor ordered.
It took 15 minutes to install and is a perfect fit.
I bought the JO5 for the Lakland pickups.
After I heard them I had to have them, like a junkie needing a fix (thanks Dan).
Now with the JZ3 in there, I'll stack my $1150 Skyline Jazz Bass against any 5 string Jazz on the planet.
The Audere is virtually transparent. It seems to add only what's needed to take the bass to the next level.
Having a flexiblity of a 3 band eq, PU split, 3 Z-modes and clean boost, has awaken a sleeping giant.
It's like have the reigns of that monster from Cloverfield...
PS: I don't know why everything is underlined

nubs.
Will the LOC stuff be available to us owners in the UK?
I am still trying to decide wether to use the white shell PG or the tortoise...

For inclusion in the LOC do you have to have a Lakland USA or are Skylines acceptable?

Just got word that my DJ5 is at Lakland "being prepared" and that I should have it in a couple of weeks (they got 200+ Skylines in and mine is low on the list for prep - which is OK since I will be traveling next week!)
Anyways - that means my DJ4 is up for grabs!!!

PS - I will be leaving the cold and snow for a week in El Paso (all work - but still nice!!!)
Peace:

Just FYI to everyone that's interested...found out about the audition I went on last week with my DJ5. Turns out, politics got involved and the best players didn't get hired. Two guitarists were hired (that weren't the best) and the bass slot got filled by a friend of one the guitarists. Had the same thing happen to me on another audition too. Unfortunately, that's Nashville for ya. But o well, cause my band is picking up and fixing to start recording next month. I probably wouldn't have taken the gig anyways because of it...
a PM has been sent and a LOG number has been assigned to the one who calls himself "rustynuts"...

I would sooo get that from you if it were 1: a 5'er, and 2: had a maple board. I love white DJ's, especially with the perloid or white pickguard!
