He definitely made some great saves last night. But I'll bet he'd like to have that first (and only) goal back that he gave up about 1:22 into the game. Ended up being the difference. We're sliding closer and closer to a date with the Rangers in the first round unless they crank it up soon...
A hard fought so win in Dallas, I didn't realize how good the Stars have been playing. It could be costly if the Pens lose Letang and Sullivan for any length of time. I was glad though to see the Pens toughen up and match the Stars physical play.
I've watched the Nystrom hit over and over and over, still not sure if it deserves a suspension. I'm trying to be objective, but I really think Nystrom could have played the puck instead of Letang. The hit didn't look vicious or aiming for the head to me.
I also peeked in on TOR/CHI. I like watching Original Six matchups. Cool that Emery got to play, but I feel bad for Toronto fans right now. Ouch.

Was a good physical game to watch last night in Dallas. Physical games are always fun to watch.

Also trying to be objective about the Nystrom hit on Letang. I don't think he was intentionally doing anything dirty, but he'll likely be suspended as this is the exact type of hit the league is trying to remove from the game.
I'm hoping I can stay up to watch STL/VAN. That should be a good one.
If I get my way, the Bruins will beat New Jersey and somehow Carolina finds a way to knock off the Rangers. Philly should beat up on the Islanders. I sure hope so.

Flyers should be mad enough at themselves by now to DESTROY the Islanders. That Wells Fargo Center should be ready to explode, either to back them up or boo them to hell if they don't come out on fire.
No suspensions handed out since the Peters crosscheck to Backes' head.
I've been following it cause of the Vlassic hit on Briere in the PHI@SJS game.
I feel like that should have been a major penalty (and suspendable) and the refs blew it.
Sickening to drive a guy's head into the boards like that and get away with it.

Shhhhh. Don't jinx it. lol. I just got home from work to a lead, a three day weekend,a12 pack and my boys in hi def. Kinda pumped.
Whoa, what a game. Nice turnaround for the Bruins at home. For a stretch there, it was looking bleak. Hat trick for Krejci, including the game winner. Nice job Boston, thank you.

We all hated him when we played (briefly) for Washington a couple of years ago.
Looks like he's coming out of the slump. When cold it's ice, but hell when hot. Seguin was looking really good too. That Krejci, Looch & Seguin line was pretty good tonight.
With the addition of Zanon, I'm hoping Corvo gets sat. It looks like Boychuck will be coming back next game or two.
