Avs toss Winnik and Galiardi at the Sharks for a couple of prospects. I really hope they pan out into something, Winnik is a beast on the PP.

MJ5150 said:No comments on the trades? I was stuck replacing a switch stack and missed them all. Funny how this is the first place I came to get the run down on the deals. Off to TSN I go.
I'll join the playoff bracket if no money is involved.

Bryz can show emotion all he wants. I want him to channel that into stopping pucks.
I don't know if it's the new HDTV or what, but I'm really getting miffed at his blown saves the past week. Went down of a high shot for that first goal. WHY? Saw it all the way in for crying out loud! Second goal low, just missed it with his glove. Again, saw it all the way in. He's got to save those! Third goal, short hander, why didn't he stop that? He's a former Vezina candidate!!! He had people wondering if he should start in front of Giguere in Anaheim, he was The Man in Phoenix. Now in Philly he's a seive! What happened??? You can't blame the defense on those softies.
Kudos to the team on the second time in three games on bailing him out. Second time in three games they were way outshooting the home team to win the game beyond regulation. They now have 4 of the 8 points given out on this road trip so far.
Trade that stuck out the most two me was Winnipeg moving their D-man Oduya to Chicago for second- and third-rounders in the 2012 draft. Winnipeg continues to build to be a strong team in the coming years.
Having said that they really dropped a duece at centre ice in last night's game against the Oilers. A game they really needed. They have played 7 games in the last 10 days so it looked like they had just run out of gas a bit.
That friggin third period gave me the cold sweats. That opened up a lot of painful childhood memories I had only partially suppressed..........Friggin Edmonton....
They also picked up Clitsome from Columbus on waivers yesterday.
Win or lose, I love a 1-0 hockey game.
