How’s the volume level of your setup? Loud enough for shows? It's been slamming my ABM410 for a while now. I swear it's more than "30"

I’ve had one for a very short period of time about 12 years ago but never gigged it but loved it tone.@BassGreaser IMO after spending thousands in the past few years trying all the different tube amps and preamps I could nothing has had the same tune magic "sparkle" as the LBs. This is my 3rd time having one because I kept coming back to it. I can get maybe 75+80% of that magic out of the ABM with the EQ section off some light compression and tweaking the valve pre on it.
I feel if you want a better recording all tube amp you're gonna have a hard time beating it.
I would recommend the LB 550 if you can find one. I'm dumb and had it but let it go off into the wild. If you see one with a Blue VU meter that was mine.I’ve had one for a very short period of time about 12 years ago but never gigged it but loved it tone.
Now that I’m gigging again I miss that all tube tone a lot.
I play in a reggae band, blues, and rock bands.. the rock band being the loudest but I tend to want an overdriven sound for that setting.
Plus most venues I’m playing had full sound system.
To play live with the rig RM versus ABM I would save a little extra for the ABM. To quote Jeremy Clarkson probably, "the ABM stands for Astonishing Bass Magic, and at the end of the day there's just nothing quite like it"Hi ti all!
I’ve just seen the new RM EVO III heads.. what do you think about it? Does anyone of you have tried them?
Thanks

@tombowlus were you able to inquire about any specific differences between the Rex Brown head (RB-800-EVO III), and the standard RM-800-EVO III?
On Asdown's website, the specs are identical, aside from the RB being made in England, and the graphics.
I did see one video where Dan Gooday stated that there were some refinements to the treble response and the gain structure, because of Rex's brighter, cutting tone.@tombowlus were you able to inquire about any specific differences between the Rex Brown head (RB-800-EVO III), and the standard RM-800-EVO III?

Thanks TomAccording to Mark Gooday, the difference is made in the UK, with custom alloy front and printing, but otherwise identical.
About the Darkglass (i’m interested in this head too), which differences about the sound between those two heads? To play live with the rig RM versus ABM I would save a little extra for the ABM…

RM-800-EVO III is made in China.
The Rex Brown version of that is the RB-800-EVO III, which is made in England
