Now, check out the spacing on the string ferrules- merely cosmetic, but I'm thinking these guitars may have been seconds.
At any rate I'll take a second/b-stock any day.
I recently have changed (not by myself) the preamp of my ATK 300 (indonesian natural body) by a Glockenklang 3 eq preamp.
Before i´ve changed the stock pick up by a Bassculture humbucker. The bass is so much musically better now. The pick up is parallel / series. Its very powerfull en with the Glock preamp also passive. That is a real nice extra ! In passive mode there is no eq shift. Only the bass like a passive P. You can only switch between parallel / series in that mode. Same volume when eq is flat in both modes. In active mode in series, rolling a bit bass and mid, killer tone. No need for Stingray anymore ! (i´ve checked them out side by side with a 4 string Stingray)
I can every ATK owner advise to do so when you want to have better tone en more musical. The bass shines at every spot on the fretboard.
...Glockenklang 3 band..active/passive .. passive tone roll off. Sounds closer to an actual Stingray than stock but I find the original pickup more versatile and warmer
Hi, I'm a new 750KA owner, and really interested in the passive possibilities for my ATK (first active I've owned). Is this Glock passive/active harness a fairly straight forward install? (I've read through almost all of the forum now, but excuse me if I missed an earlier post about installing one). Thanks

Somewhere, someone in one of these ATK threads posted pickup heights for the ATK.
Can someone post their pickup height for me?
I feel the same way. I have no intention of parting with mine, be it b-stock, second or fifth....

This is my new baby!!!! WOOOW!!! This thing ROCKS!!!!

Here is my 13 year old son, Ian, a Double bass player getting his first electric bass - an ATK300 red sparkle. I'm joining the club on his behalf, when he gets a bit older he can post for himself!
It was a Christmas surprise along with a Line6 Amp, both purchased here on the classifieds (thanks guys)!

+1.
I went the route of changing the pickup and pre but ended up going back to stock because when it comes down to brass tacks, I like the ATK more than a 'Ray... that's why I have it in the first place. I just temporarily lost sight of that.
