With my SC, I had an amp with a semi parametric mid eq control and I found it very useful for controlling boost/cut at various frequencies. Everyone has a different "mid" sound (low mids to high mids) they like. I sometimes cut low mids to make high mids more pronounced in relative proportion, in place of boosting high mids. You need to experiment.
The thing with the BF 12's is...they have plenty of mids, but the lows are stronger than we're used to, so it "seems" like the mids aren't as prominent. Don't be afraid to turn the lows down and the mids and highs up.
The lows in my BB2 overpower my home studio and rattle joists in the walls. So I back off the low EQ knob on my amp and all is good. When I play outside or in a large room, boy those built in lows come in handy! (Amp's low EQ is usually neutral in those situations.)
This. Cutting frequencies to be able to bring other frequencies out seems to work for me. IMO etc etc.
@primussucks9126: Try the GK "flat" (not knobs at noon) and turn down the Bass even more. Assuming you've not already done that. I tend to do that with any GK head I encounter.
That's generally the time frame, if they do not have standing stock for a cab (they usually don't). My one10 was a 30 day wait which was very much worth it. The Four10's have/had existing stock for the intro pricing in limited quantity... I believe all the intro-priced metal grill Four10's are gone but as of yesterday there was still availability of silver cloth grill at the intro price so you could get one in 2 days at your door. It's possible they might have standing stock of the metal grill Four10 too, but just no longer at the intro price... I have no info on this. I could not pass up the Four10 cab especially at the intro price. Shipping itself is always roughly 24 hours from pick-up in UK by FedEx to my door, which is amazing.
Just sent an email to see if they still have a silver grille four 10 at the introductory price, and check delivery times. Could be another Barefaced coming into little old New Zealand soon.
As long as you can click on the "Buy" link for the silver grill Four10 on the website and it takes you to the pay screen, then they are available, as far as I know. The metal grill "buy" link doesn't take you anywhere anymore, which is how I am surmising that they sold out of the metal grill intro price cabs.

You could always hit the "buy" button to see if it goes to a payment page, but hold off on actually filling out the info. At least that way you might find out if there is availability at the intro price.
EDIT: I just tried it for both links for intro pricing (black metal grill and silver cloth grill) and both times it went to a payment page. So, it would appear both are still available at the intro price. Hopefully will still be so tomorrow-- I'd imagine so. Good luck! I am really liking it so far (but have not had a chance to put it to a true test, which comes with these 3 gigs this week).

I must say it inspires confidence when you get such a prompt, courteous and positive response from the other side of the globe. I am not sure whether I will have to wait a few weeks or whether it is available and ready to ship now, waiting to hear from Alex on that.
Either way I am sure I will be a very happy camper.

Considering how happy I am with my pair of One 10s, I have no need for a 410......but I am looking fwd to some reviews.......
Just heard from Alex that my Four 10 should be on its way very soon as they are almost ready to ship - just waiting for grill and impedance decisions from buyers. I have gone for a silver grill as I like the bling and think it will look great with at least the Fender and Ampegs on top (the Orange AD200 and Trace Elliott V4 will make their own statements as usual). Also 8 ohms impedance since each of them has an 8 ohm selector.
So impressed with the service and communication so far from Barefaced.

Man. That FR800 occasionally gets me thinking about selling my BB2 and Genz Shuttle 9.0, and buying an FR800 and just running my pedals and Enabler into it.
That would have the advantage of doubling as a handy PA speaker too... but I think I'd miss the modularity of being able to use different amps. What's that old saw about "would you want to eat the same thing for breakfast every single morning?" I don't care if it IS steak and eggs... some days I just want eggs benedict instead.
I've only got one amp that I use as a head (my Demeter). The Genz is just used as a power section for running my synth.
