Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

Been waiting a week since final payment for mine, not a peep :(

Well I don't know, maybe I get the same scenario. OTOH I live in Europe so perhaps they have a different shipment policy regarding shipping to US as opposed to EU.

In my case their response was "Hopefully, the cab will be shipped in the next couple of days". Might mean tomorrow or in a week or two :/

It depends what you want. Being able to go modular or have a one cab solution. I personally prefer to be modular because for pub gigs etc you really don't need a 1600W BT2 screaming its soul out :)

On the other hand, a single BT2 will cost less than a pair of BBs so I finally then decided to go with a BT2. It is a good balance between portability, weight and power.

If I get the sound I want out of the BT2, I might actually end up ordering another BB in the future to be more compact when needed. Or a midget or something.

Edit: Oh and btw, you don't need to stress out because of ohms. 2 8 ohm BBs will run in 4 ohm mode as will a 4 ohm BT2. So you will have the same amp juice anyways.
Yeah, can't really afford 2 cabs so getting the BT2 is the way I am going to head and if down the road I have more cash I will do the same getting a BB2 or something even smaller. My TH500 and the BT2 should really kick some butt. Waiting on an email from them to see about the cover and what the damage is going to be then I will probably order it.
Thanks for the reply Sparkl.

If I remember correctly it's one day shipping to the US and Europe so it's usually pretty quick. This is my 3rd order and the first time it's been longer than 2-3 weeks build and ship time. Ordered mine on the 9th Jan so I'm at 5 weeks now.

Right, you have the tone hammer. Correct me if I am wrong but tonehammer series only have 1 cab output? I saw just one on a th350. I don't know if th500 also only has one. I am writing this on my phone as we speak, so I didn't check the amp specs. If it's true though, you really might want to go with a BT2 just to avoid unwanted complications.

Hmm I have ordered on 18th January and my cab is supposed to be shipped this week. Maybe they complete a larger amount of orders and than just ship them all on the same day?

Last week I was speaking with Barefaced on the phone and he told me that they make around 60 cabs per month now. Might be the case.

You're not alone. They received my deposit on the exact same day. Oh-well. What can you do? Nothing. Patience is a virtue.

What complications? Daisy chain the cabs, since they have two jacks.

No the TH500 is 500 watts and has 2 speakon outs on it. What kind of unwanted complications do you think I will have?

I think I ordered mine on the 19th or 20th. I'm trying not to be impatient, but I'm really excited about this.
On the other hand, I still haven't sold all the equipment I need to so I can afford this thing. :(

Haha, I also have two buyers on hold for my GK 1001RB-II and GK112 NEO-II until I get my BT2 home. Until that happens, selling it now would make me an ebass player without a rig. Sold off my Genz Benz streamliner 900 already and I pray to god that those two buyers won't get sick and tired of waiting.

As opposed to your case I had the finances to pay for the cab but I am also heavily relying on compensating the BT2 price by selling my previous gear.

I'm also upgrading from a pair of GK Neo-2 112s. Obviously I can't sell them until I get this, but I also need to unload a Lakland 44-02 that I just can't seem to sell.
