That's the goal. We only have an hour to set up. We were borrowing a PA with active mains and powered subs. The crossover and sub power amp we're racked in a 6 space case with other gear. It was tons of cables and connections. This should be: plug in the amp, run two cables, then plug in the mixer and done. If we need to borrow the subs, then that racked power amp by Behringer has a built in crossover and can support 4 outputs
That looks like a nice compact system, monster, and I'll bet it's plenty for most any use. I'll be interested to hear how it works out for you at a gig.
Nice. My goal is to one day order another One10, but that would also mean buying a new head. Love my MB200, but it won't power 2 cabs, and I'm guessing daisy-chaining wouldn't get me much with that head.
Do it! You absolutely can daisy-chain two One10s to an MB200, even though it only has one speaker out on the head - daisy-chains are parallel, not series, so the head will see a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.
Very simplistically, more speakers makes it EASIER on the head at a given volume, not harder! 200W will do plenty through 2 One10s.
Yeah I definitely expected a huge increase. That increase almost wasn't worth announcing it, just do it. Of course they got swamped with orders from folks like me who expected a huge increase so that may have been the plan the whole time!
Your amp and the One 10 are absolutely both designed for daisy chaining.

The fact that you're adding more speaker is what makes the difference. The wattage difference between running your amp at 4 or 8 ohms would make a smaller difference than adding another speaker. Guessing here but 4/8 ohm diff is around 2 db and one cab or two is around 6 db. Again, a guess. I'm sure someone will correct me.

Pretty sure the rule is that if all else is equal, doubling the wattage is +3 dB. I'm also aware amp companies sometimes disclose the 8 Ohm rating as more than half of the 4 Ohm (800 watts at 4 Ohms, but 500 at 8), so who knows what you're "really" getting (other than agedhorse
).
Played three gigs so far with this rig, love the tone! Sits really well in the mix on stage, and there's plenty of volume. Have been using a single BB2 on most gigs, (two on big stages), but the two One10 stack is now going to be my go-to from now on. The rest of the band are raving about the bass sound too.
Yep @friskinator, generally speaking, greater speaker surface area gives you more efficiency from the same amount of power - this is part of why the classic SVT of 'only' 300W is so legendarily loud - because it's known for being run through an 8x10 cabinet which is by nature quite efficient. I'm sure it would. I once ran it through the 410 Classic version of that cab at a friend's studio, and it sounded huge. I'm definitely happy with my single One10 and gig with it frequently, but if I can free some funds up, I see another in my future.
Living room unpack and plug in testing results: 30 minutes to get stuff wired in and sound coming out. Had an issue with my analog synth, which took me 5 minutes to figure out, then 5 to fix and sound check the whole system. 40-45 should be plenty on gig day. Gonna do a few more practice runs to make sure it all flows. I'll have help on the day of the show, too. Not as much time saved as I hoped, but still a good savings overall. No need to run XLR to the old powered mains and plug them in to a wall. Hopefully, we can skip the old pair of subs (35 lbs each) and the boat anchor crossover. That should be a life saver with the stairs we navigate.

I really was hoping I'd still have a beard for this one, but I did shave recenlty-ish. I'll get it going again and take such a pic
I'm almost as excited for me beanie to arrive as I am my Two10, lol! I have a shirt and a sweatshirt already, now I'll have the complete apparel line.
