How exactly do the ten inch speakers change the tone? A little warmer in the lows, less pronounced highs? Another advantage is the Two10 being 4ohms which would maximize my amp (Mesa Subway D800).

I had a pair of BB2 not SC, so not exactly the same although not hugely different tonally. The Two10 just suit me best, they have a tighter bottom end and a very pleasing treble rolloff (high enough that you don't like top end either). With the BB2, you could get great sounds of course, but I found myself playing with the EQ a lot more... with the Two10 I'm always a little tweak away regardless of the room, open air, whatever. I have a pair of Two10 now and sold the BB2s

This was my rig last night, it sounded pretty good, still tinkering with the eq on the TH. But the cab is boss!

My original assumption was that anything (ANYTHING) larger than a 10" driver was flabby, unfocused and anti-"tight". I corresponded with Mr. Claber on this, telling him I had never met a 12" or 15" that I liked, and he said that their testing showed the 12XN driver was actually more responsive in the transients than their 10CR driver. I was skeptical, but decided to take the plunge with an SC (as I loathe tweeters) and have found virtually zero difference in transient attack between the One10 and the SC.

But what I did find was the SC accurately represents everything I put in, and does at any volume. There is no coloration in the SC as I crank my Quilter and GK heads (well, the MB500 and 800 have the baked-in GK sound, which is why they remain as backups to the Quilter.)

I just bought a Bear Foot Blueberry which is PERFECT for adding any hair I might need into the SC. At least I can control the grit, growl and bite the goes into the SC.

I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about moving from a 10" to a 12" Barefaced cab.

Here's what a pair of Big Baby II's can do without PA support. Roughly 200 people I'd guess.
It's my Dingwall NG2 > Mesa M9 > Big Baby II's. It felt like I was pushing them harder than I'd prefer and the tone is more utilitarian than my preference, but I'm told by quite a few that it sounded fantastic out front.

I started with 2 SC's and always use both together to get a great sound at higher volume. I recently borrowed an SM to run with one of my SC's and was very impressed by the sound. I also just ordered a second Two10 to go with the one I already have.

So you might not be finished yet!

Hey, I like your style. I have a very similar setup, except with a BH800 and a SC and mine is silver.

Actually, the pictured amp is BH550 and I sold it recently because the 550 was the backup to my BH800 and I didn't really have a need to have TWO of those amps.
