Is that your maths or Barefaced? Two cabs is always +6dB max output over one cab. Sensitivity goes up by +3dB and so does power handling for another +3dB at the max.

Hey man, all good, but I would think that Alex would know. If he says the Two 10 is 125 db then I am certainly not going to argue with him. He has also stated that the Two 10 is the same as two One 10s so go figure. Ultimately it is your ears that count. Peace

I can confirm it. I use my One10 with both MB200 and Quilter BB800. It sounds louder with Quilter anyway.
Would have been cool to get a cab at a nice discount but I already have a pair of BB2s as well as a One10 and am VERY happy with them, so I think I'm set for cabs for life now. But our guitar player has been intrigued with my BB2s (haven't gigged the One10 yet) and asked me a few weeks ago if Barefaced makes guitar cabs so I pointed him to the website. I warned him they're pricey and he still was surprised, although I did point out that the guitar cabs are quite a bit less than the bass cabs.
But when I saw Facebook post from Barefaced yesterday morning, I forwarded it to him and it sounds like he's thinking about it. I kind of hope he does go for it. There can't be that many bands playing both the bass cabs AND the guitar cabs, so that could be pretty cool.
I'm trying to convince my guitarists to get one too. Only drawback I can imagine is that guitar cabs use standard speakers, whereas Alex designs the bass speakers himself.

My guitarist ordered one with neo cremeback speakers in it. 2x12 cab that weighs 24lbs.
Ordered a Super Midget in Silver Cloth (saving an additional kilo) and the cover (let's not be cheap)
There can't be that many bands playing both the bass cabs AND the guitar cabs, so that could be pretty cool.
I play both (bt2 and radical 212).
The guitar cabs are less eerily light and powerful than their bass counterparts.
Could be due to the V30s inside of course
They still sound good though, the diffusion is great and the prices are also way more reasonable.
I can only recommend them.
If you want to save money you have two choices: 1) buy used, 2) wait for a sale, which may or may not ever happen. Enjoy the cabs, I'm sure they will be phenomenal. I'm really wanting a 210S right now but I am moving, so sadly I have to wait and miss this sale. But I want the new house more than the new cab!
Still get the cabs and wash your clothes by hand.
Question for you Barefaced experts...thinking of taking the plunge...does anyone have any experience comparing the tone of two of two Big Baby II's versus a single Big Twin II? For reference I'm currently using a fEarful 15/6/1. Thanks!
I use a BBII paired with a SuperTwin so I haven't heard two BBIIs or a Big Twin II. The SuperTwin is a much beefier sounding cabinet than the BBII but is missing a bit of the upper high end due to the lack of a horn. Two Big Baby IIs stacked will sound great but I imagine that configuration will be a little more biased toward the highs than the Big Twin II with only one horn. Having two 12s in the same enclosure would probably mean a little fuller sound than two BBIIs but naturally the frequency response should remain the same and I would not expect a night and day difference. I would decide based on whether you want the option of being able to use only one BBII, you really can't go wrong with either choice.
Absolutely love the fEarful! But my 15/6/1 weighs 52 lbs., while the Big Twin weighs 46 lbs... and the Big Baby weighs 26 lbs.
My recommendation is to get one Big Baby and see if that meets your needs. Give it a lot of watts and it will get plenty loud.
If the weight is a deciding factor, get the BB2 and if it isn't loud enough get another one. IMO two BB2's will sound awesome and separate 26lb lifts should win the day for anyone with a back problem.
