Funny. it was me that asked the question over there but it was in regards to how well the Mesa TT800 paired with the Barefaced Two10. Coincidentally (or maybe not) the exact same question I asked here. But since the guy brought it up, I've found several cheap isolated pads similar to the auralex gamma pads that you would set your cab on only much smaller. I think I'll pick one up to set my amp on top of, on top of my cab. If that makes any sense.
That's what I do with some "audiophile" rubber mat that was sent to me by accident. Works perfectly and the amp doesn't go for any walks.
Yes, I've been running a single Two 10 and TT 800 for a few months now. Sounds great and is very versatile tone-wise. Works great for the low key gigs I play. Not sure about bigger stages. If those shows come up I drag out the SVT stuff.
2x BB3s driven by a mesa tt-800. Bass is a carvin icon 6f.

Two see work. Third is backup.
One is best for standard rock, the other for more finesse work. I play very hard at times, fast with harmonics other times, heavy chord work, and a very heavy hand when laying into a bass using all four strings simultaneously. I play differently. The Ox meets Flea but with finger and plectrum styles (not really a slap/pop guy). Broke a string on the Sadowsky a few shows ago in the same song as the video below (hitting all four strings while playing a full four string D chord - in drop D - on the build before the last verse). Also, if you have ever misjudged active bass battery life, had wireless signal issues at venues…
Some folks on here have seen me play. They might chime in saying "yeah, he takes his basses to their limit".

I am 'being nice' in this video, you will see me sometimes filling holes or playing two parts simultaneously, then transition to a full chord. In other videos I am laying into the instrument quite hard, or playing Peter Hook style (a lead bass line while also laying down the bottom).

It looks like the Big Baby 3 width dimension hasn't been updated on the website. Aren't the new ones 20.5" wide (same as the Big Twin 3)?

I have 2xBB3 cabs. Love 'em.
They are pushed by either a Genzler MG800 or an EA iAMP Classic (1200).
I am kicking around getting a BT3 for a couple of reasons, the main one being that it's basically two BB3s with just one tweeter = one cab to roll, I don't task the tweeter as much as I do the two 12's from each BB3. Anyone have any info or comparisons to share? Plenty of pics of the rig in my previous posts.

If you can consistently count on FOH to provide your sound to the room and only use your rig to hear yourself, would a single BB3 suffice?
Also, if you're asking out of concern for "stage presence", I'd think two 1x12s would make a bigger and more imposing impression than a 2x12.
