Interesting. I feel like my ST I got 5 years ago didn’t take much at all to work in. I’m always slamming some low B string action into it and it’s very tight and full. I would talk to Alex asap and he will figure out what’s going on!

My ST felt settled in after about a week of gigs. I think part of that was also me getting used to it.
ST definitely takes a bit of time to get used to - so much clarity when I first used it that it was almost off putting! One of the best cabs ever
How did fed-ex treat you ? I've heard stories of additional "Tarrifs and taxes" in order to post bail. Any info greatly appreciated as I'm on the fence for BB3 . Also wondering about conversion to us currency
No muss, no fuss, no bother when it came to fedex. I think I purchased after the tariff panics, so everything was already priced in.
I bought with google pay, so there was a small fee to cover the currency conversion cost, but it was pretty small compared to the overall spend.
Exactly 4 months after ordering, Big 24 arrived! Picked up an RE20 to mic it.
I ordered an Activier One10T in mid May. It arrived here to the U.S. last week with FedEx needing a signature but no extra payment. It's cost was above any de minimus threshold, so I don't know why I wasn't charged a tariff because I believe one was in place both when I ordered it and certainly when I received it.
As part of the process, Barefaced sent me a couple of customs forms to complete. One I filled out showing I'm not in the import business but am just a person buying one thing for personal use. I have no idea if that made it exempt. I don't know if I just got lucky.

Customs mechanics aside, I chose the Activier One10T to use as a mix of at home practice, taking to rehearsals, and small gigs. The reason I went with the Activier is because I never touch the knobs on my amp and do all of my EQ from my pedalboard, so I thought I'd give this a try to eliminate the amp.
Since I'm terrified of ohms and watts, I also had Alex confirm I could use the Activier to power the 2x10 cab on my Ampeg Micro VR should I want to make more noise, and I think the two blend very well together. I'd considered getting the second cab for the VR, but I like this better because I'll have two things to carry (One10+Ampeg cab) versus three things to carry (VR head + two cabs).
Unfortunately, the feet of the One10 don't line up with the holes on top of the Ampeg cab. Oh well.

How do like the ST compared to the Genzler 15/3 Bass Array? I'm curious if the Genzler provides better off axis dispersion which I find the ST lacking. I'm cosidering the Bass Array as an alternative to my Super Twin.
The off-axis dispersion of the Bass Array cabinets is hard to beat - definitely the best thing about them IMO. Other positives with the 15-3: adequate deep low end and light weight, suitable for a one-hand carry. I find that they don't have as much focus as I'd like, though - the ST wins in that department. I also didn't like not having a tweeter level control on the 15-3, and the high end is a little shrill for my taste.
agreed. The bass array cabs would be hard to beat if they had a level control for the smaller speakers. The 12 has a lot more focus than the 15. I had a 15/12 stack for a brief time, and it really was the best of both worlds. Just looked a little goofy with the different cab dimensions
It's strange: I've got the Super Compact (half of a ST), and I find the dispersion excellent, compared to other cabs or combo from other brands.
When I play in a rented rehearsal studio, sometimes I bring my BF SC, sometimes I don't and I just use whatever is provided: Markbass, Fender Rumble, Ampeg or Hartke amps. I find the dispersion of the SC much better, and I must say it often motivates me to bring my cab from home just for a 3 hours rehearsal (the other main motivation being the better sound quality, obviously).
I've never played a Genzler Bass Array so I don't know, maybe its off-axis dispersion is even better, but I would certainly not say the BF is lacking in that regard.
Other SC or ST owners: do you think the off-axis dispersion is good, average or poor?
The Bass Array cabs have exceptional dispersion with their mid driver array as would be expected, but I have a Super Twin T and find it to be pretty good in this regard - as good as 2 vertically aligned 12” drivers can be.
I regularly run two SC's and I think the off-axis dispersion is very good.
The two cabinets I use regularly, BF SuperTwin and AK Thunderchild, both sound good from anywhere on the stage…and I am assuming that off-axis dispersion is the nerdy term that applies

I don't have much time on my new Big 24, but its off axis is excellent. Deep lows for days from all angles. My rumble 100 on the other hand needs to be focused like a laser, lol.

Yep, my Super Compact has excellent off axis throw. Doesn't matter where I am on stage. Always sounds deep and clear.
Interesting feedback. With my Super Twin I can move a foot or two to the side of the cab and lose a significant amount of upper-mid/high content. I realize that's a normal occurrence with all cans to a degree, but with it being a 212 and based on reviews I expected better projection. Especially given the cost.
I could hear everything with my old Fearless F115's even if I was standing right on top of the cab. Best dispersion I've ever experienced with a bass cab. Could that mid driver be the difference? Either way, trying to eq the ST so that I'm hearing enough high end on stage only to find it too bright and brittle out front is annoying.
I do appreciate the input from everyone.
