Also passed the two year since deposit mark back in December. Luckily I've been in an extensive training program at work the last two years to distract me. I don't even know what I'm going to do now that it's almost over.
Almost over? I hate to burst your bubble but I am kissing 4 years of waiting in about a month…that said, my wait should hopefully be ending this year as the shop reached out to me not too long ago about confirming my details and I did see a pic on carls stories within the year w a stack of wood w my name on it. I couldn't be more excited but I know patience is virtue and good things come to those who wait…and none of us are strangers to the wait.
4 YEARS?!
Amazing: I will just take things as they come and enjoy all the posts! Lol
My first CT was 4 years and some change....my current one in process is at 5 years now (6 in August) . . .
Sure, it can be built faster but Carl does what the f*** he wants! Hahaha

Thinking about getting a Kelvin Daly. Is there any comparison to a CT bass at all? I've never played either.
Also, I'm heading to NYC. Is it possible to visit the CT shop and/or play one of his basses?
Decided to try out a new type of string, figured I'd give it a fresh conditioning while I'm at it.
