Just thought I would share this awesome video and song that was put together by some guys over at carvinbbs. There is even a nice bass solo in it! :bassist:

Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1tysBsPbSI&feature=youtu.be

Wow, Carvin guitar porn meets Game of Thrones! I was discretely watching this at work with the volume down super low. I'm sure I had a goofy sh-t eating grin on my face. This clip made my day. Thanks!

I pulled out my all koa '92 LB70 today. I hadn't played it in quite a while. Man, if the people who keep insisting that Carvin electronics used to be mediocre could hear this bass, they would have to eat their words. This bass just sings!

I loves me some spalt, but unfortunately that piece isn't very evenly distributed with the spalting. I can see some flaming trying to peek through, but that looks to be on the low end of what to expect when you order. Just one guy's opinion.

I've got a solid Koa B4 that I snagged off Craigslist last summer for $500. including the G&G tweed case. What a great find! I've had carvin build me a fretless neck for it, havent gotten around to doing the tung oil finish on it and installing it though. The poly finish on the body has some sort of surface hazing, eventually I'd like to sand it down and do natural oil finish on the whole instrument.

I asked Keith in sales just a couple of days ago when I was ordering some radiused humbuckers for my Icon, and he claimed to know nothing about any plans for a P pickups. He also said that sometimes new things pop up on the web site before he has even been notified that they exist and are available. So, who knows? :)

Still nothing on the website and no mention of it on the Carvin Forums.

:crying:

A few posts back here on TB someone said word was to pay attention to the website in the coming week, but that was a couple of weeks back, maybe longer...
