This is what I have in the works from Devon. Will have a Nordstrand 3b preamp with passive tone control. Nordy DC pups with switches for single coil/series/parallel. All black hardware with a clear pickguard and a cream pearloid pickguard. It's a swamp ash body with a quilted Sapelle top and an Indian Rosewood freboard. Gonna be nice man! Can't wait.
Looks like a beauty! The pick up combo is exactly what I have been contemplating for my own Devon build. When are you expecting this one to arrive? Definately looking forward to hearing this one as well.
I played my Devon #1818 this morning and it just kills. I love it. I've had a lot of basses over the years and this Devon is in the elite mix for me.

If you have Devon #1803 or #1815 and would be interested in selling, drop me a PM.
Super wish I had money to give you for that!I might have mine for sale soon. The P5 on the website. Thinking about another one
What strings are you all using on your Devon's? I've decided I don't like the GHS Super Steels Devon ships with. Thinking maybe Pure Blues or GHS Pressure Wounds or maybe even just plain old D'Addario nickels.

I've used Pure Blues on all my Devons and Roscoes and it's a match made in heaven.
The pure blues are nice as are the dadarrio nyxl’s
