I finally got some (bad) pics taken of my black-on-black Musicman Stingray 5HH.
Black knobs, rosewood fretboard. Really a nice look.

Here's my Sterling. It's been a close companion since '96? Bought it used (slightly) from BNW. The previous owner wanted 5 strings and I was the beneficiary when I saw it hanging on the wall. Fell in love with the finish and neck and the rest is history.

In 01 I left a space heater blowing directly across the neck for about 3 days while the wife and I were vacationing. I got back and the neck was shaped like this: (

I took it to Mike Lull and he made it all better. IIRC, he had to plane the neck a little to straighten it out and now it plays so so nice!

Dude, that is a beautiful bass! Mike Lull does INCREDIBLE work. I sent a couple basses to him a while back for a fret level and a nut as well as a full plane/refret, and they both came back pure magic.

Every time I get a new bass, off it goes to Mike. I have a SB-2 on the way from the 'bay and Mike will get his mitts on it soon enough.

That would be an Albert Lee; the MM guitars are great, if I played more guitar than I do, I'd have one, probably an AL.

One thing dude, change the pickup cover on the MM so that its a white cover, and then its a great match for the guitar you've got

WHAT!!! You got two polish cloths and some stickers?!

All I got was one polish cloth and an insurance slip.. along with some other junk. lol

When I got my sr5 in 06 I only got one polish cloth and no stickers but thats okay because i have plenty of ebmm stickers, ha.

I've got a white pearloid pickguard coming my way. I'll see how I like that look. But right now, this black/black/maple is just too sweet.
