I just ordered my vintage sunburst sterling with single humbucker and rosewood fingerboard. It should arrive by november!
Whats with the cuts in the pickguards? You planning on changing over to the pickup cover style used on the HH/HS models and Bongos?
i wonder why it takes 3 months to get the bass. do they have to make it? I wonder why they don't just call another gc and see if they have one in stock. But i do like the idea of getting a hot off the press bass

Looking at a blue dawn Sterling with maple neck at a local guitar store. Only $700, but I need to sell some gear to get it. Maybe they will do lay away?
