I am still kicking myself for not buying this one I played it when it was at Bass NW originally......by the time I had the scratch it was gone..Seems to me this one had Aero pups and the Demetre pre amp.

I think you are exactly right about the AEROS and the demeter. Rob doesn't use those preamps anymore. He said that bass would be one of only a few that still had the Demeter in it. He changed out most of the others.

Dear god that this is great. Who made the knobs? Who will make the pickup covers and ramp? What do the knobe do? VVT or VBT?

THG(i think that is the name of company) made the knobs for single cut.

the pickup covers and ramp are being made for my six string by larry from aero and i will post pics once i have them installed.

the ramp for my singlecut was made by rob.

as far as the controls i not sure yet im sure its one or the other. i will let everyone know tomorrow when i get my paws on it.

next month some time. larry usually cuts a bunch of covers at one time. so when he gets to it, he gets to it. im in no rush. i will post pics when they arrive.

Another odd thing about it is that is has string-through-body holes for the B and E strings (ala Warrior). I'll never use 'em, but they're unique

Great looking bass, Bryan. I'd be interested to hear how this one turns out. I haven't had any luck with that pickup orientation (my Nordstrand singlecut had a similar layout).
