This is my Elrick. Bought the bass sight unseen and it was the best money I ever spent. I was really pumped to see it on the Elrick website in the Gallery. Thats where I got the picks. Count me in for the Elrick Club!

That bass is simply stunning. The Walnut back is unbelievible. That back is better than most fronts I have seen.

Congrats.

I need to update one rule on the Elrick/Cort basses. This is something that has really been bugging me. This does not apply to any current Elrick members. I feel it is necessary to exclude any Elrick/Cort basses that were not licensed by Rob. Especially the Josh Paul Signature bass. I came to this conclusion after reading Rob's explaination on the Cort deal on his myspace.

Ok. back to business!

Thank you for the nice words bout my Elricky! The front is very cool to look at up close, but from a far it looks plain. I wish I could see what the walnut would look like on the front. I live 10min from Bass Central in Orlando so I get to play tons of unique basses, but I am never sad to leave knowing that I have that bass to play when ever I want.

Just got off the phone with Mr. Rob and my bass is progressing wonderfully! Although, he did say it would be in rest mode for a few weeks, because of some of the japanese basses having to go out early. Oh well.............the GAS is really building up now.

Ohhhh I read that on his MySpace page too. So that lays to rest all the rumors of why they were dropped from the Cort line- and why the JP5 come out in those horrid colors and with all the diffrent details. ROB didn't really have his hand in those other than the original design. Glad mine is offically licensed.....though it no longer "says" so after my steel wool treatment of the back of the neck........lol.

i couldnt wait for mine bryan!! plus i had these three laying around so i figured i make a trade...

Awesome Elrick there, mate. So I guess the moral of this story is that an Elrick is worth two Fenders and a Pedulla. Hmmm...I've always thought that but now my suspicions have been confirmed. :hmm::eek::o:D

P.S. Please send all angry responses to the TB general delivery inbox. ;)

In action. What a great sounding, great playing bass. Purchased new from the Bass Emporium in '05. Weighs 7.2 lbs. :)
