Also, just ordered the MissionEng. SP-H9 expression pedal.
Should have it by next week.

Looking forward to exploring the SCULPT settings.
It has the ability to give distortion by frequency. So I can crank it on the highs but back off the lows to keep a solid bottom end.

I've had various connection issues before, but nothing is better/worse since this last update. I am using Mac and iPad, no iPhone. Connection issues are worse on the iPad.

cool so I'm not the only one thinking the Max is the best way to start. I don't think i'll need more than one, honestly. But the software and the bluetooth capability make this pedal super appetizing. Also the sounds...Eventide is amazing.

I bought the standard H9 a couple months after the release, replacing my pitchfactor. Purchased 5 or 6 of my favorite algorithms from the Pitch, Time, & Mod factors; long before the MaxOut promotion. Once they offered Max Out it was a done deal for me, and I had a Max a couple months later.

Now my H9Max is a desert island pedal. I love and need it. Can't imagine gigging without it.

just getting my feet wet here and was wondering before i get crazy.....do i need an ios device?? Dont have one and never have, will i be missing out not being able to really tweak on the fly?? I can always set sounds on the ol pc and rock what's loaded correct??



or am i buying a pawnshop older iPad ?

You can tweak all your settings at home and load a setlist for shows so you don't have to tweak on the fly. At practice you can adjust anything you want on the device itself. The app just makes it a lot more convenient and easy to understand. Especially for me. I keep the manual on my iPad so I can read up on some of the knobs so I know how to adjust it faster.
