I’ll see what I can do about posting some clips.

I’ve got a few gigs in with these now. So far, I’m beyond impressed with how they’re working out for me.

I’ve got one unit set up mainly with different EQ/Comp presets, with a few duplicate effects from the other one (so I can feed drive into filter, mix filter with delay, etc). The one on the right is all effects. I’ve scaled down the preset lists to 12 on one, 16 on the other. Makes for scrolling through to get what I need quick and easy (the OX9’s are a lifesaver, live).

I know I’m late to the H9 party here, as they’ve been out a long time, but damn, I’m impressed with these things. The ease of use with the H9 Control app is a thing of beauty, as well.

So I stupidly quickly used all my previews up when I first got the pedal. Ive got a Metallica covers charity gig coming up and I need an algorithm to fill the Cliff Burton wah role. The algorithm doesn't have to include the fuzz as I can cover that. What would you suggest would be the best fit?

I will be joining the Eventide family very soon. Just placed my order for the H9 Max and the Barn 3 OX9. Can't wait. I have been doing a lot of research the last couple of days. I have always seen the H9 but never really knew what it was, ( still not to sure , lol) . It is an amazing piece of technology. I am blown away by the sounds and capabilities of this very compact unit. I knew I had to bite the bullet and go with the Max or I would end up upgrading to the Max. I like having all the features available.
I was looking into other multi effect boards with amp modeling and IR capabilities , but that is not what I needed. I am very happy with my amp and cabs. I am also very happy with my new soon to be Eventide H9 Max.
I have only grazed the surface of what it is capable of so in the mean time while I'm waiting on the delivery man I will continue to read and watch videos. Stay tuned for picture when it arrives.

You could make one, but o honestly think it would be easier to just make a two button foot switch and run a Trs cable. Otherwise you’ll need a power source for the bt

I think the only thing that will directly connect to the H9 via Bluetooth is the app.

I use a Zivix PUC+ and MIDI Designer in order to control all of my MIDI pedals from my iPad. I think there may be some programmable Bluetooth page-turning type of pedals that could connect directly to a PUC+ or Bluetooth MIDI dongle that might do what you want. But you would need two pieces of gear (the pedal you're asking about + an adapter that physically connects to the H9, instead of just the controller directly connecting to the H9 by Bluetooth), I'm fairly certain.

I find I'm rarely using my two H9s at the same time. I've considered splitting them to different boards, in fact. Do you think you'll use all three at once?

I bought the 3rd to basically use for the EQ/comp stuff-different preamp sounds so to speak. I’ve got several presets dialed in that I really, really like.

I do use my current 2 together quite often, so this third one will kinda give me everything I want now.

Hi everybody, I wanted to chime in here...

There’s isn’t a Bluetooth pedal that will work for H9, but you could use a simple MIDI controller for that type of functionality. Though it requires a cable, it can be a long cable, as MIDI doesn’t suffer degradation the way audio does at very long runs. Small controllers like the Morningstar MC6 MKII or the Disaster Area Designs DMC-3XL and DMC-4 fit on pedalboards. As far as I'm aware, MIDI is what ALL musician’s that run H9s in racks use to control from afar.

I use two all the time. Modulation/ reverb, delay/ reverb, pitch/ reverb, reverb/reverb.
One is always a delay or reverb.

ID never use three, but I could see it as a thing. Delay into pitch into black hole or something.

I’ve spent a bunch of time nailing down/programming a bunch of different presets for mine. Flangers, phaser, choruses, overdrives/distortions/fuzzes, filters, delays, etc. Along with several different EQ presets.

The H9’s are basically the heart of my setup, but to do exactly what I want, a 3rd one had to be added. So now I have one Max and 2 Cores.

Obviously, with what I have invested in my board now, I could have just bought an all-in-one unit like a Helix. But I love the sounds I’ve got programmed into my H9’s, and I love being able to adjust and program them with the control app. So I’m sticking with what I know I’m 100% happy with.

My band does a huge variety of covers. Everything from older country, to new (bro) country, to classic rock, hard rock, pop punk, pop, etc. So having the different EQ settings, and combinations of effects, is very nice to have.
