Considering the GR Bass 112H is supposedly only 4 lbs heavier than what you have in your possession now (27.1 lbs), I would be a little miffed considering the price difference is 50% less.

Considering the GR Bass 112H is supposedly only 4 lbs heavier than what you have in your possession now (27.1 lbs), I would be a little miffed considering the price difference is 50% less.
In that case, It wouldn't bother me at all. Still saving 20 lbs over a comparable standard Neo cab.
Why would they need to exagerate the weight figure, given that even23lbs is already amazing for a 212?
And if you open the discussion about the weight, I'd like to talk about the sensitivity: how could the 210 have a sensitivity of 103 dB SPL, seriously? (same as for the 212 by the way)
I agree it is VERY light. Sounds great too- the scale is just not as show stopping as advertised (and priced.) Maybe they will respond with some clarification.

does it have the cloth or metal speaker cover?
The previous version (about a year ago) was heavier because of the vinyl, glue, and metal speaker cover that were eliminated on the new version.
I also noticed that the AT 212 Slim (+) now comes in two styles with two weights, 19.8 & 25.3.

I can't speak for the actual sensitivity of the 210, but when I used my AT210 with a Barefaced 210 it completely burried the Barefaced to the point I wasn't aware of the Barefaced adding anything. Both cabs 4ohms
Interesting, especially since Barefaced are know already to be super efficient compared to other brands (I own a One10).
I'm sure GR Bass cabs are super efficient, as they are super light but the sensitivty ratings on their website are just not logical:
AT110: 98 dB SPL
AT210: 103 dB SPL
AT410: 104 dB SPL
AT610: 106 dB SPL
AT810: 106 dB SPL
See what I mean? Huge gap between 110 and 210, then a tiny gap between 210 and 410, and 610 identical to 810, it doesn't make sense… + the fact that the 210 is supposed to have the same sensitivity as the 212.
I would love to get one anyway, but they are hard to find. And they announced the "Natural fiber" line last july, and I love the looks, but they are still not available. So I don't know if I should wait for the Natural fiber or get a regular carbon fiber now (I would hate to buy a regular carbon fiber now if they finally release the natural fiber cabs shortly after…)

Been meaning to post in here. Joined the GR family last month with this bad boy out of the guitar center used inventory.
Beginning of the year I received my MTD and discovered that the low impendence pickups did not play well at all with my beloved Ashdown heads. I picked up a Darkglass head locally to hold me over. I had decided on GK being it's so tried and true with the MTDs and was searching for a deal when I stumbled across the DUAL 800. I had remembered watching a video on it a year or two ago and jumped over to YouTube real quick. Less than an hour later I had watched just about every demo video there was and placed the order. I was most impressed with the pedal power out and the dual DIs but nearly every aspect of the amp is so well thought out. You all know this already.
First thing i did was plug it in to my two 212 cabs with the volume at noon and gain at 9 o'clock and plucked an open E and the volume and scared the poop out of myself with the volume level! I've had other 800/900/1000watt heads and they sure as heck didn't had this much volume. My cabs are rated 1000watt rms each and there's no way they'd survive this amp pushing full power.
I'll stop rambling for now but short story long I LOVE THIS AMP.
Just saw this add on Facebook, and realise how great this tiny amp must be as a travel swiss army knife for amplification and recording. Paired with the 4 ohm version of the AT110 or AT210, you get a crazy light and efficient battery powered system for outdoor gigs.
But I wonder: the product page only specifies 50 W 4 ohm. Does it mean you can't use it with a 8 ohm cab?

Hi,
I have GR Bass ONE 350 head, been very fond of it for about a year. Lately I found that when turning the head on, there's a noisy sound coming from the fan, for about a minute, then it gets normal silent. The head is working perfectly, is not warming up, not even in Studio mode with the fan turned off.
I wanted to ask whether somebody experienced something similar. I could bring the head back to the shop for warranty repair, but don't want to do it if there's no real problem.

I'm sure it's plenty sturdy but that stack gives me anxiety
Fine for at home. Won't stack on stage like that. The head weighs slightly more than both cabs together.
I have the same thing happening, I opened the top and tightened the little nut holding the fan in place and it stopped for a few days then returned. I think it's because there is only a single point securing it there is a gyroscopic effect causing the vibrations when it first kicks in.
Of course I can't find it now, but they used to have different weights with the cloth grills weighing approx. 4 lbs. less that the steel grill cloth in their own line catalog.
How did you buy one?
I bought my AT 112 used and want another.
I'm thinking I should have gone with Barefaced based on VERY limited stock in the US.
