That is the best deal i have ever heard!!! I know someone who got a 70's P for a grand and we thought it was the best deal ever.

God 80 bucks thats unbelievable. I always go to like garage sales to see if i can find anything like that, haven't yet.

The fellas over at UBP- myself included- thought it was pretty epic.

It pretty much qualifies as the "best gear snag" of all time.

Its a pretty good player, in Good-to-Very Good condition.

I just scored an early '70s HSC of the 'Bay for it. Now its complete.

I've got an 03 P-Bass that I picked up on TB recently.

I love P-Basses and this one sucks the big one compared to my others, as well as my friend's Highway One. Seller forgot to detune the bass during shipping, but the tuners are hard to turn and unresponsive. Had a terrible setup that I corrected, which helped out quite a bit, but not enough apparently. It still sounds like junk.

I'm going to pop in either a Dimarzio P/J setup or yank out the frets and install some EMGs on this baby. I'm also going to replace the guts since the pots are scratchy and it needs a new input jack. Gonna get a new tort guard for it as well. The seller was kind enough to toss in a new Tort guard for it, but I think its an ugly tort that looks screen printed onto plastic. Then I replace all the hardware with hipshot.

Maybe then I'll be in business. :(
