Here's my '06 Highway One P. I love this bass. Is #5 taken?

Replaced Greasebucket Tone with traditional .1uf cap tone
Highway One Standard Bridge

Put on a '70's F neck plate

'05 H1 Reliced
It's one the best Jazz Bass i played. And i had a few high end Fenders.
The only thing that's bothers me it's the low volume output from the pickups.
I'm thinking about changing them to BassLines or DiMartzio UJ.
Is it going to help? Or should i look into preamps as well?
Any suggestions?
The places here are mostly selling EMG's and DiMartzio so anything else i have to order online which will cost me 37% taxes extra...

Looks nice. Did you do that yourself?

Have you tried adjusting the gain on your amp? That's what it's there for.

But I'd personally go with the basslines. No pre-amp for me personally but I'm traditional.

Yeah i started relicing it when i saw some finish come off and just kept on picking on it till i decided to make it look like this.

Yes i did adjust the gain, but still sometimes i required to go into a studio where they don't have place for amps. It's mainly electro music studios.
And then i just have to play with my GT-6B till they get a decent output level to record from.
My question was if by changing the pickups, would i get a much more higher output?
And if i do what pickups should i change too. BassLines i will have to order online which is a bit of a problem.
Did anyone else experienced the low output thing on his H1?
What are you thoughts about DiMartzio UJ.
By what i read the sound they produce is exellent for me,
But will they produce a much higher output than the H1 stock pu?

My brand spankin' new Fender Highway 1 Jazz Bass in sun burst that I ordered should be here any day!! :hyper:

Do I have to wait until I get my anxiously anticipating quivering sweaty lust filled bare naked palms & rushing fingers on her before I blab & grab # 79er?
