VERY nice!!!

BTW - off topic: is anyone having difficulties with wireless mics etc lately? we have at church and are wondering if it has anyhting to do with the swicth to digital TV and radio.....should NOT be an issue, but things started "happening" after the original switch date (i.e lack of signal, weak signal etc).....may be a coincidence but thought I'd ask!

I had a wireless obsession back in the day (late 90's or so) and I used one live a lot. I had problems with it cutting in and out and it adversely affected my tone, even though it was a high-grade UHF or VHF system. I ended up going with a 20-40' cable instead. I never need to get out in front of my rig THAT far, and if I do I'm only out there to work on mixing/sound. I use 12' cables most frequently for tight stage settings, but the long one is nice so I can move around pretty far if necessary.

VERY nice!!!

BTW - got alot of compliments on both Amber and my fretless today!!! they sounded great for some reason today (better than "normal")........

I've been using my X2 and not seen any problems yet (knock on wood). I also have absolutely NO tonal issues using it.

a few years ago, just as i was making the switch from guitar to bass(never looked back) i was at a flea market and i had a chance to get a v4 in nice shape for $350:crying: i had no idea what i was passing up,
and i dont think he had any idea what he had.
I have a V4B with 4-10"/horn and 1-15" cabinets. I can't wait to crank my Decade through that rig.
Oh yes, my V-4 GAS is getting to extreme levels now. Both basses sounded sooooo tasty through that head! I'm going to start looking locally.

you need a pot o' tea J!!! a FULL pot!

sipping some right now as a matter of fact!

Sir, I think you have made a *very* good point.

Oh, I totally forgot: One of my bands recently finished and launched a CD. Amber North gave me a whole bunch of different, usable sounds. So much so that she was the only bass I used on the album.

Should be available on CD baby pretty soon, for anyone who might want to hear samples... CD baby does let one hear samples, right?

Since I just got it yesterday. I'm posting again in the new thread.

Great bass!! Did you get that from Cream City Music in Milwaukee? They had a one piece ash JO just like that, only no pickguard.
