Thanks, I really appreciate it :)

To the VT Bass's credit though, it REALLY warms up the bass. And since you guys are being so nice, here's one more for you :P

Little more of a driving rock song. Again, still needs some mixing and adjustments. There's some weird reverb on the drums that I don't like... I think the harp player was experimenting with some stuff in protools.

NICE!!!

VERY NICE!!! Congrats my friend! Remember, with great power comes great responsibilty..... I think :D.

I want some close-ups of that beauty!! What's the color called? I call it "PURTY" but I'm sure it's got a better name :D.

thank you fine sir!!!

I agree and I am taking my new-found power (well at least semi-) seriously!

wish I could get some close-ups.....would need a much better camera....mine sucks (just ask Greg - he keeps telling me it does).

The color is "Blonde Translucent"......hell to the yeh yeh!!!!

WOW, a 13lb 4 banger??? Gotta wonder how that hunk of lead made it thru the selection process, hahaha. Maybe it should go in a display somewhere..... would look good incased in glass, next to your banner

I wanna know how it got through customs!!! Maybe Korea wanted Dan to pay more taxes!!!

as for the "encased in glass" comment - you betcha!!!!

just gotta see how low Leo would go on it!!!:hiding:

PS - what AM I THINKING????? no booty if I buy da bassy....choices choices....

My first Lakland Skyline JO(very early model) was right at about 13 pounds:ninja: My gu!+arist would just start laughing every time he picked it up:rollno: That's the only reason I got rid of it:( My buddies Gibson Grabber was even heavier. My US BG is now my lightest bass:smug:

when I picked it up it reminded me of my old T-40.....

though the T-40 may have been a little heavier....

Whooo!

Man, if that had one more string, I'd be road-trippin' to steal it outta your hands.

J2 - I agree!!!

BTW - listened to your CD yesterday...good stuff!!! your bass playing was the best part of the songs (don't brag too much to the other guys~~but I felt you stand out amongst the rest of the band!).....an AMBER north sounds wonderful! you sure got a wide range of sounds out of her!!!

ther rest of you should check it out....Jessie plays a mean Lakland!!!

Blackie, my lone DJ finally made it back from Lakland loaded up with Chi's & oh my god these pups are HOT!

I mean, whoah my oh my! I'm tempted to put in the passive plate.

Although, with the Audere & the bridge pup solo'ed this is one mean growling rock monster!

Mine has shipped today, scheduled to arrive on Wed.:hyper: very excited. I'm a little curious about the weight on mine though, it is one of the last Skylines before the move to Indonesia (could be heavy) the tracking says 28 lbs(shipping in Lakland HSC), I found a similar SKB case that weighs around 13 lbs, so that puts the bass plus packaging at 15 lbs... anyone think of other things that may add to the weight? i'm pumped about the bass but nervous about getting a boat anchor, worse comes to worse I'll have to buy one of those 4 inch straps.

no worries...all of my Lakies seem to be about that much shipped...besides, I think Lakland and others "add a few pounds" to the weight (for what reson I do not know) when noting the weight...

even my 10.5 lb 55-94 was over 25 lbs shipped...
