Thanks, I really appreciate it![]()
To the VT Bass's credit though, it REALLY warms up the bass. And since you guys are being so nice, here's one more for you

Little more of a driving rock song. Again, still needs some mixing and adjustments. There's some weird reverb on the drums that I don't like... I think the harp player was experimenting with some stuff in protools.
I wanna review and pics too. I wanna know how it compares to the natural JO and 4-07.
VERY NICE!!! Congrats my friend! Remember, with great power comes great responsibilty..... I think.
I want some close-ups of that beauty!! What's the color called? I call it "PURTY" but I'm sure it's got a better name.
WOW, a 13lb 4 banger??? Gotta wonder how that hunk of lead made it thru the selection process, hahaha. Maybe it should go in a display somewhere..... would look good incased in glass, next to your banner

My first Lakland Skyline JO(very early model) was right at about 13 poundsMy gu!+arist would just start laughing every time he picked it up
That's the only reason I got rid of it
My buddies Gibson Grabber was even heavier. My US BG is now my lightest bass

Indeed, a 13lb four string is..... quite something. And I thought my 10,5lb DJ4 'AC' Edition was heavy. My Duck Dunn on the other hand is as light as a feather.

Whooo!
Man, if that had one more string, I'd be road-trippin' to steal it outta your hands.
I should be hearing back from leo today, re: My Sonic Blue. I hope for good things.

Mine has shipped today, scheduled to arrive on Wed.very excited. I'm a little curious about the weight on mine though, it is one of the last Skylines before the move to Indonesia (could be heavy) the tracking says 28 lbs(shipping in Lakland HSC), I found a similar SKB case that weighs around 13 lbs, so that puts the bass plus packaging at 15 lbs... anyone think of other things that may add to the weight? i'm pumped about the bass but nervous about getting a boat anchor, worse comes to worse I'll have to buy one of those 4 inch straps.
