Haha. Call it what you will. It would be funny if other people wanted to cop my bass and called asking for an EM-DJ.

To be clear, I meant it as a joke. There is zero chance of an actual "e-mac" model. Though, I do have some nice design ideas.

By thumbrest, did you mean a 5th string??? I was thinking about an actual thumb rest between the pickups earlier today, but I'll wait on that for a while. No use drilling into the bass unless I'm sure.

Evan - common....you know me....YES - I meant a 5th string!

NO MORE HOLES!!!

PS - I LIKE the idea of an e-mac model....

One thing's for sure: I will be missing the kempt, almost retro look of the stock bass...
Still, the huge Chi's are starting to grow on me, if even a little bit. First thing that pops into my mind is "Robocop."

EDIT:
updated mockup group pic

On LPB - go either BOTH single coil CHIs or the single with the double at the bridge (looks best IMHO!)

BUT - the black looks so sinister and ubber cool with the doubel doubles!!! not sure why....it just looks better on black.....

you agree????

Makes me want......:bassist:
