I bought my ta501 3 days ago.Will be saving for the 610.Right know running a swr goliath 2 8ohm 410,and aev15 4ohm in an old sonic cab.For now.still sounds excellent.

It'll be worth it! Keep in mind that the 610 is 6 ohms, so the amp will only be putting out more like 400 watts instead of 500. However, I personally don't mind that, as I feel that not only is it still more than loud enough, having a more compact and lightweight rig is worth it.

Finally got a decent picture of my CMD 121P, with some of it's friends.

I think I'm going to call Avatar this week and order a SB112 to create my mini stack of doom. Less than 69lbs!

Welcome to the club supersnake52.

Most people seem to keep the EQ flat and vary the tone using the VLE and VPF filters. With my PBass I adjust the low-mids to 12:30 and set the VLE between 9-10 o'clock for a more old school sound.

One nice setting I learned from Kjung is to set the VPF just barely on, 7:30-8:00, to tighten up the bottom a bit, and to set the VLE between 8:00-9:00 to take a touch off the top.

I got my CMD102P last week. I was going to replace my new Fender Bassman 250 210 combo because it arrived damaged, but a friend of mine in California was just going on about his Markbass. I went to GC, tried the combo and just decided to return the Fender and got the 102P combo. My ears are happier, my back is happier, and my Bass is happier.
