You want the 4003 model, standard, unless you want funky stuff on their like the "cove" and what have you. I prefer standard.
A 4001 bezel is flat unlike the 4003 version.

I can't play with handrest either....I tried...love the looks.....but CAN't.
I kinda like the bezzels and kinda want one too. But, I played my Ric for years without one and still do. I don't recall ever having a problem.
In some regards, they sort of look goofy. A Ric is what it is. I dunno.

I just ordered one yesterday,.. The one with the "cove". Hopefully it will be what I want as I kind of like to get my thumb sort of behind almost "underneath" the E string....
Looked like the most logical thing for my playing style..

Maybe so, but MF would have lots of experience with Rickenbackers delivery performance so it may not be so much of a shot in the dark. If they called me and offered to ship me a MapleGlo at that price I'd jump all over it.
I have the treble bezel with thumbrest on my 2001 Jetglo. I just like how it finishes the look of the guitar without the Pup cover.
Yep...as I posted a few pages back - I have both the pickguardian model and the treble bezel cover. They both work fine, but if I had to be pinned down and pick only one I would choose the treble bezel model, but I have to say that the pickguardian model looks a little better on the MID....

I love Pickguardian, but I really think Tubeampology's bezel is the better solution to this situation. That's just me though.
Well I had the pickup cover off for a week. I have to say I don't like the gaping hole and what is offered to cover the whole doesn't do it for me. So this morning I put the cover back on and practicing my playing style with the cover. I think it will work for me plus I like the way it looks
In time it's almost like the hole ceases to exist ... you somehow develop a sense to see past it . The understanding that it doesn't matter .
