Terror Bass is supposed to be post preamp/EQ for the DI (I'm not clear on if it's post FX loop too or not). I'd think you could split off of the FX loop send & go into the power amp in/FX loop return on the 2nd amp though. I'd imagine you'd want to use a buffered splitter/ABY w/ phase & ground lift capabilites for it though.

Since TB doesn't have a Slave Out, your options are exactly those; DI converter or FX split. I remember the FX loop of the original TB to be line level (not sure about the new one), so you have to account for that. If it's a pedal level signal and you runa pedal with a clean out (Deluxe Bass Big Muff comes to mind), you can take that and insert it into the return of your BA210 for a wet/dry setup (Ampeg being dry). Or you can use a stereo Pedal and go stereo wet/wet. Or use a normal splitter and just have two of the same signal with different cab options.
I personally don't mix and match cabs, but if you are separating them enough (and not mic'ing or have a really good FOH tech), the shouldn't be much of a phase issue.

Thanks for the input, would be nice if the TB500 went down to 2ohms but not sure if it really has the power for that. Two of the bands I'm in I run through the PA so no big deal but this other group I've been jamming with play's harder rock, no massive PA and the drummer hits hard so it would be nice to spread out my sound.

Check out this PA I got to play through last summer, massive. The problem was I wasn't allowed to turn my amp up, actually I heard the monitor over my amp but I agree with that in this setting.

Usually in this sorta scenario, I try and get the monitor to only have my bass in the opposite side of the stage to me.. so I can only hear my amp.

It was tough to get what I wanted in my monitor, when the show started I was playing and trying to communicate with the stage engineer on the side of the stage. Lots of old people so the sound production engineer wanted total control over the band.

Played mine today with an older Carvin 1x15 8ohm cab with no tweeter. Played it a couple weeks ago with a newer 2x10 4ohm cab with tweeter. Played with the same group of guys both times and got more compliments on tone today than the last time. It sounded better to me too. The only thing I was missing was just a little top end. A tweeter would have solved that. I think my sweet spot is going to be two 1x15 8ohm cabs with tweeters on attenuators. That way I can go with one cab or two, and turn down or off the tweeters to taste. Now I need to contemplate whether to build or buy. I'd really like to go light weight, but also not break the bank.

I did some Googling but couldn't find a straight answer:

How long did the original Bass Terror run last? I want to pick up one of the new ones, but it might not be until next year. I don't want to go to Sweetwater and see that the thing has been discontinued again.
