The Butler is not an amp. It is a preamp. Those are not outputs like you find in an amp, but balanced audio outputs.
If that is too sketchy or bulky, you can get your dirt from a pedal, and use only the clean out.

Is anybody using any of the Orange pedals? I was watching some videos of the Two Stroke, and was wondering what the build quality is like.

Awesome set up!!! My introduction to the AD200B was on my way home from a business trip when I happened to stop in a small music store to see what gear they had in stock. They had an AD200B sitting on top of the 410 and 1x15 cabinets. I tried out two basses through it, a Geddy Lee Jazz and a Road Worn '50s P, just like yours. My hands and ears were very happy!

Since I was wondering about the center positive power supply that shipped with the Butler being 1000ma and wondering what the actual current draw was? Already answered in that thread yay! since there is no other info on that detail elsewhere.

New Bass Terror owner with a question - I've done a bunch of searching and can't find confirmation of whether this head needs to be run with a speaker load attached when using the DI.
Interestingly, the online manual states that a speaker connection is NOT required if you are using the DI: "IMPORTANT: A speaker cabinet of suitable impedance and power handling must be connected to the amplifier’s speaker outputs unless the DI Output is in use."
However the PDF version of the manual says: "IMPORTANT: A speaker cabinet of suitable impedance and power handling must be connected to the amplifier’s speaker outputs even when the DI Output is in use."
I know this is a class D power section which usually doesn't require a load. I'm guessing they pasted some of this info from other manuals and then revised the online manual (HTML version).
Curious if anyone has used their Bass Terror without a load without ill effect or if there's something about the design that would prevent using the DI without a speaker load. I'm kinda thinking it's ok based on the change they made to the manual but any real world experience is appreciated.

My guess was the same. This question was asked a while back and I think this here post might be the closest to an actual confirmation by Orange themselves as we ever got: Official Orange Club II
It is a solid state power amp so yeah, I still can't see how it would require a speaker load.
Feel free to completely dump on me for this question, but is the Terror Bass a good option for those of us who are interested in some tonal variety? I know Orange is known for their sound which is very friendly to rock and metal, a nice overdriven tone with crunch. However, does anyone have any issues dialing in a nice jazz or Motown sound with their TB? I am looking at new amps, and want to be able to utilize my fretless Jazz with whatever amp I play, while also being able to jam with Sleep and Deep Purple songs like I usually do.

Not sure about jazz or Motown, but it always worked great for country.
I think the Terror Bass 500 will be versatile enough for anything I will ever need to do. However, if I didn’t want the Terror Bass’s tube drive (and I do), I would take a hard look at the Little Bass Thing. No tubes, lightweight, a powerhouse, semi-parametric mid, and on-board compression.
Anyone running the OBC115 here? I was planning on TB plus two OBC112s, but there is an OBC115 for sale locally for $200 under MSRP that I am considering.
