Another question. Today I received a black OBC410. I noticed it is made in the USA. My Orange OBC410 was made in England and did not have a tweeter. This new one does.
Also the new cab only has Speakon jacks.
So why would Orange put only speakons on all of their cabs now and not have them on their main bass head, the AD200B?

Looking at their website, the OBC 410 is described as having Speakons and 1/4 in. jacks. Are you sure it's not a combo jack (Speakon with a 1/4 in. input in the middle)?

Beyond that, the cabinet is rated 600 watts and the 500 watt point seems to be where manufacturers start phasing in Speakons. The AD200B is a 200 watt amp, so they're really not "required", or expected (being an old-school sort of amp (and a lovely one at that!)).

I just checked my new US made OBC 410, and it does indeed have a combo jack. It will accept a 1/4 inch or a speakon.

I just picked up a TB500 today. So far I'm really liking it. I've been looking for a light weight backup up to my Mesa M6 and this may be the one. Doesn't really sound all that similar, but it does sound good. I've been playing through it all afternoon with a Jazz Bass w/ J-Retro, and an NV215 cab. I actually prefer the J-Retro in passive mode through this head. I have a gig tomorrow night and may leave the M6 at home at take this for a spin.

All the OBC410s I have seen have a tweeter but no tweeter control. Its 'set'.

My cabinet does have speakons...it may also have 1/4 inch as well. Mine is a UK cabinet from 2 years ago roughly.
