Lovin' my Terror Bass 500, well worth the wait. I use the Garnet 2x15 in the picture at home, and a Marshall 1984a 4x12 at the jam space, and sometimes I use both:bassist:

So far my AD200 has sounded great through everything I ran it through! The combo I can't wait to hear, is stacking both my 410 OBC! As of now, one is at my house, and one in the band trailer, but they shall meet soon!

I've been having issues with my TB500.

When I run the amp for a set or so, then put it on standby, when I fire it back up I get no volume to my cabs. It was sending a signal to the DI and my bass was coming through the PA, but not my cab. I shut the amp off for about 10 seconds and fired it up, and everything worked fine. It seems to just do it when I have the amp in standby then turn it on.

Is this common?

Have you seen any issues, or heard about any issues with the OTB 1000 in terms of heat, etc? I assume its the same size as the 500 just double the wattage.

Same size case. I was told it has a better transformer and better tubes in the TB1K. As for the rest of the questions on this amp I have no idea just yet. I just got it today:bassist::bassist:

Looks like the OTB 1k's are now officially back ordered. So I will have to wait until July for one to come in on special order.

If you get a chance, post some of your thoughts on your new 1k. I'd appreciate it.

As of having the TB1K one day I see that this amp has a lot of head room. It gets so loud it make my eyes giggle. Now playing it at practice level I notice that this amp is not a gainy as the TB500. Thats about all I have for you now. I will say Im looking forward to gigging this amp this weekend!

I've had an OBC115 for 2 years now and it's great but I have only needed it for one gig so far. All the others have used my SP210 cab with OTB500 head. Last weekend did my biggest gig so far, bit the bullet and used the SP210. No problems at all - everyone was happy - band, sound engineer, audience. In the photo of us doing a sound check you can just about see that sweet little rig. Obviously the type of music plays a part - for our Latin/Soul/Jazz style you can get away with it. For rock/metal it will be a different ball game.
