Can I be in ? Just got a ad200 mk3 from a former endorse in a trade for one my b15n's. I had 3 b15's. he really wanted one and could no longer use the orange because he signed up with another company so he was open to the deal.
I have been chasing this tone ever since I sold my old ad200 a couple years ago to pay some bills. This one sounds even better than my other one or maybe I just missed that sweet warm ballsy tone. I am happy to be back to the ad200. this time I will never leave. lesson learned!

Awesome gear. I have been wanting to get a Orange Terror Bass 500 for the longest time.

Took one for the team on Ebay and bought the factory refurb TB1000. Arrived today with one minor scratch on the underside and the carry bag feet gone or messed up. I figured the factory had the issues ironed out by now and the refurb would be solid. Set up, plugged in, turned on and "KAPOWW", a loud pop and a puff of smoke :roll: I guess they replace burned out caps or whatever at the "factory" but don't bother turning them on to see if it's fixed :?
Orange does not have these figured out yet IMHO
Now I get to see what kinda service this dealer or orange provides Don't bother IMHO Why would new be any better?

I'm now playing an Orange BT500C 2x12 combo with an SP212 extension cab and it kicks ass.
A totally rocking mini stack.

I don't get the anti-Orange attitude so many TBers have? Overpriced, poor quality, and various other comments. I guess they've never used any Orange gear, because I've set'mine up as a backline several times, with nothing but great comments from the bass players using it.

Yeah, well I don't care what others think. I love the Orange sound and I'm having nothing but great compliments on my dual SP410 and BT1000 set up. Most common response I hear is "I need to get me one of those!"

I demo'd an Orange TB500 at an AZ GTG through a fEarful 1515 with an 8. It was mind blowing. Also demo'd the Orange Terror TB500 with my Bergantino AE410. Stunning, added some old school grunt and grind that was superb.

Been wanting one of these amps ever since. I tried a TB1000 and the power and volume of that thing was completely insane. I would never need that kind of power. The TB500 will be plenty!

How has the reliability been for the TB500 and TB1000's?

I have a TB500 and it's been great for me. Had no problems whatsoever and could not be happier with my sound. Definatley one of the best sounding amps Iv'e ever used, not to mention loud.
