So we have established that Michael + the Michael Manring Hyperbase is a major strike for ZON in the league of iconic players with iconic basses.
Will ZON be at NAMM? Will Michael be there? Will he have a Michael Manring Hyperbase?

If you have to say this "or" that - well than the idea of an iconic player AND an iconic bass just does not fit. We're talking HOF here guys, not just all stars.
McCartney's Hofner - yes
McCartney's Ric - no
AJ's Vinny - no
Dimin's Vinny - yes

Ok, so now we're talking HOF in the eyes of the general public? I thought it was HOF in the eyes of bass players. In that case Berlin wouldn't even qualify. Neither would Anthony Jackson. I think Dimin might by the skin of his teeth.
good distinction. I think there would be big differences, obviouslyOk, so now we're talking HOF in the eyes of the general public? I thought it was HOF in the eyes of bass players.
Do you NEED to steal my dreamsI think Dimin might by the skin of his teeth.
Zon will be at NAMM. Manring will be at NAMM Friday and Saturday. Hyperbass - most likely as Michael will be performing
Over here the Zon player most likely to be recognised by the general public is tetsu from larc en ciel.
I don't know about Billy Gould. Maybe if he was playing Zon back in the early 90's, but probably not now.
Yeah, that's why I mentioned "American" a while back- because here, very few people have heard of them, but in Asia they're huge.
I actually think Tetsu makes Zon gives substantially more press in Japan and other countries (as in Singapore) than ANYONE does for Zon in the US.
I don't think there are any high profile US/European endorsers right now- as in, people that are known by non-musicians or non-bass players.
He recently moved back to Zon post-Lakland. Lakland have the signature model (styled after the ESP), but Tetsu been playing Zons live lately.

Artist relations are confusing. Just ask anyone who has ever dealt with Robert Trujillo.
Count me out
We could do some duo gigs, and GO somewhere warm?
Anyone fancy putting me up in the US? The Zon club in England is minimal, feeble and I feel much more at home with you guys. Preferably somewhere warm![]()
