Can you solder? If so I can send you an identical jack to replace it with.
This is very public spirited of you Angus. I am v. impressed.

So, bottom line. Are you guys saying my VB4 fretless lined was possibly at NAMM and worse some clown may have been playing it?

Mike Dimin said:Since Vinnys are direct sale only, they most likely would not bring it to NAMM

There were some photos posted here of the Zon booth and I did not see any VBs. A couple of years ago, when I was waiting for my VB5, Martin Peters at Zon told me that the shop was very busy after the NAMM show fulfilling orders that were placed at NAMM. My VB5 took from July to May.
That's funny Alastair, I didn't have to wait that long for your VB5.![]()
Played through Tecamp Puma, Tecamp M212, Roland SDE2500 (at times) and it gets more going at about the 1-minute mark....
How exactly did you record the bass on this track? What microphone did you use?
What effects did you use? I didn't hear any.
Direct made sense, though- it sounded like direct but you listed the 212, so it was confusing.

Sorry about the confusion...should have stated I went direct.
