That's a great question... I wonder how a Zon will sound with EMG's...

I had a set in my 4 string with a JPJ set up at one point years and years ago...I hated it. But then I hate EMGs, so it isn't that shocking. It is exactly what Papersen said- too much treble, too harsh, too angular. I hate EMGs in a Modulus for the exact same reason.
If someone likes EMGs in a Modulus, though, they might like EMGs in a Zon. It just isn't for me.
