They pop up on the classifieds here every so often. Was a Redwood Burl on here a couple of weeks ago.

Do a search for them on Reverb and then save that search to your feed (requires acct). You'll get an email when one gets listed there and have a better chance of snatching it up before someone else does. All custom Zon are hard to find these days.

Speaking of that, I did stumble on this beauty recently: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Would probably cost someone $3,600 ish USD with shipping and import duties. (I am not affiliated with the company, just stumbled onto their site) I gave it some thought but its almost identical to my current Sonus and I already have a down payment in on a custom build Legacy Elite 4 (eta Nov 2020).

Thank you for doing research. This is very beautiful. And I would be interested. But it’s in London though. Do they deliver over seas?

That is a beautiful Sonus 4! Sadly, Sonus 8s very rarely show up. Let me know if you spot one of those.

Hi all, I’m soon to be a first time Zon owner and I’m having a heck of a time trying to track down any info. Anyone in the know with Zon serial numbers? I can’t even find an Image with the same format as the one I’m picking up.

I think it looks pretty cool. I'm curious about the pickups and electronics, how close they are to the originals.

I own a 1990 Legacy Elite and I would definitely NOT prefer the upper horn strap button placement, Schaller M4 tuners and hidden mid control of yesteryear so I'm kind of glad they didn't replicate *everything*.

Zon owners, I'm curious what strings you prefer. I recently picked up my second Sonus 4 custom and the strings on it were garbage. I put Ken Smith slick round mediums on it and oh my goodness do they sound and feel amazing. My other Sonus has Zon strings, but I think I'm actually preferring these Ken Smith ones now. Any other opinions out there?

I use these on my Zon Legacy Elite Vl, I absolutely love these.
