Official Zon Club Part 5

Well now I got worry

i was changing the strings on my Sonus 5 and the B-string saddle assembly somehow popped, or was knocked, off

The saddle itself landed at my feet,
but the little screw+spring thingy that adjusts the saddle position flew off somewhere and now I can’t find it

Does anyone know if there’s a generic component (Gotoh, Schaller, etc) that would correctly replace it?
And if so, which one?
(the bridge is Zon-branded)

If I drop something off the table where I work on my basses it's almost impossible to find again. The carpet might as well be camouflage, nothing small stands out. Plus, having fallen straight off the table, it will then bounce ten feet in any direction.

Vacuuming is a great idea!

Hmm, any time I've lost a small screw or spring, I go to my local hardware store (Not a box store) and am nearly always able to find a replacement.
Best of luck!

I believe the Zon intonation screws are M3x0.5. Sounds like that particular saddle was hanging on by less than a full thread. You’ll need to get a longer screw and may need to trim it down if you can’t find the proper length.
