Do most people order truss rods in zons these days? Can you specify how much relief you get if you go without? I’m jonesing for a zon again but the ones I had without truss rods all had too much relief in the neck for me.
He does seem to prefer a more "medium" relief. From what I remember when I ordered mine a couple of years ago the truss rod comes standard now.

Wow... I went through the whole ordering process, received my bass, and never even considered truss rod until now. Mine's a headless, and I don't see access for one, so unless it's completely hidden by the neck pocket I don't appear to have one. It's OK with me, the bass plays great, but I certainly understand the advantage.

Congrats , how long of a wait did they estimate?Placed my order this morning. Sonus V / Sonus Special V mashup: 3 jazz pickups, walnut top, 2 band boost only EQ + passive tone control. Super excited. They were very responsive over email.
