Old Bands that Still Have 'It'

Hot Tuna. 40+ years and still going strong. I see them pretty much every year. Always will I think.

Earth Wind and Fire are still a great stage act.

Paul McCartney still puts on an awesome show.

I caught Roger Hodgson of Supertramp a couple of years ago and he rocked the house!

If you are a Journey/Steve Perry fan, Steve came out of hiding recently.

Seeing Journey/Steve Miller Band tonight in Ridgefield, Washington. Seeing Yes next month. Saw Paul Rogers a couple months back. I'm amazed these guys keep pluggin' away. But then, ya gotta have income. I love classic rock shows.

I saw Van Halen in 2007, and Eddie definitely didn't have it. My mom could have made a better run at "Eruption" than he did. I'm a huge VH(both Sammy and Dave Era) fan as well as Eddie in particular, but EVH was embarrassing. Sammy actually carried the show guitar-wise.

As far who IS bringing it...Brian Setzer. Saw his Christmas thing last year and was floored. Energy, chops, stage presence....all there in spades. Not to mention the orchestra just kills it every night.

I saw the Buzzcocks a couple years ago at Coachella. Steve and Pete were the only two original members but since they are the main singers and songwriters it still felt like the Buzzcocks. They were and are awesome. Can't wait to see them later this year.

YES

saw them when they came through about 2 months ago , great concert hall , AWESOME sound and musicianship , still got the vocals, all in all SPECTACULAR for a bunch of guys punching into their 70's. took my 18 year old with me and he was rocking to the old yes standards
