That makes a total of 10 with mine included. I second the idea that we purchase Prog's bass. If that's OK, then I'll front the rest of the balance so that we can get him out of the fog.

So, if you have put in your money, give me an up or down on what to do for Prog. I'll send him his asking price and we can get this done. In the meantime, keep sending your donations. Let's see if we can settle this tonight or tomorrow OK?

I think after our leader Mr. Hambone has gotten the complete list of participants we should start a new thread and figure out the details. Cool...glad it's gonna come together finally!:)

sounds like if we got about 7-8 more we'd have it covered?

A special kudo to Adrian Garcia who, despite the rules, pitched in an additional $10 to cover someone else that couldn't donate. That's going the extra mile Adrian - you are a true gentleman.

Yes, the way it's adding up we will only need another 7 or 8 donations to complete this deal.

I'm gonna sign off for tonight and we can pick this up tomorrow. Progzilla will probably have gotten gotten my PM by then and we can light this candle.

I didn't think there would be any dissenting opinions to have it sent to me first so that's where it's going. :D

It won't be here for the Atlanta GTG but I'll make sure some of the more colorful characters around town here get a chance to paw this beauty. We'll all post our reviews for all to see.

There is a shortfall of about $50 that still needs to be balanced so keep your donations flowing. I'll post the new contributors as they come in.

If you're gonna do it, it's gotta be a "stock" model: Mr. Wish picks one right out of the shop with a standard wax finish and whips it at us. And yeah- gratis would be nice, but we're not the same as a magazine, et al.The review could be published around, maybe, and if the word is good that's big for Mr. Wish. Let him pick a representative model, though, like builders do w/ Bass Player.

Where do we send $10?
