I’ve always loved the looks of all white basses. Not Olympic white, which is nice , but that bright whiter than white shade.
I also happen to love StingRay5’s,
and a sparkle finish is just icing on the cake.

I’ve often considered purchasing one of these models but always knew deep down that they weren’t quite right for me. I find them to be some of the most eye catching basses I’ve ever seen.

With Ernie Ball releasing their Fall 2022 BFR models . I took a chance that this would be that perfect white sparkle StingRay5 that I’ve always wanted. And I was right.

Has your loving the looks of other basses ever led you to purchase a bass that was cosmetically similar but a different company?

 i love it when that happens! perfect!

another beautiful ax, m'lady --- you really know how to pick the style :bassist: --- and it's gotta be a killer player! but if looks could kill = killer! congratulations on your new instrument!

probably most of the axes i've owned. :D i've squandered enough space showing off my parts axes, but all of them have 'looks' that were inspired by instruments made by others. and i'm so lowbrow: i have copies and copies of copies!

Rhonda Smith played a white Lakland like this minus the blocks . Always catches my eye.:woot:

This beautiful Lakland comes from @nautipaul and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I had a 55-02 for years, and making the jump to a US-made Lakland was totally worth it.

That purple sparkle SR5 you have is hot, by the way. Love the color!

That Five is Money.. The pure class it exudes is blinding to the eye. And that fingerboard, forget about it. I can imagine the LED's on stage, just making that beauty sparkle white and gold like a diamond, mesmerizing audience members. You gotta play some smooth ass funky lines on her, and definitely need to add a white top hat with a feather to your outfit, perhaps some new white kicks. lol.. Awesome bass. Congrats.
