One thing leads to another…

Ooooh !!! That is beautiful!!! I never knew these existed. I’ve seen them in black from Ibanez I think. I thought those were nice but this is just so pretty!!

...and apparently as rare as hens teeth. There's this pic of another one with black binding on the maple neck like on the Black Eagles, but the one I first posted has white neck-binding which is probably even more rare. One could re-fin a black Eagle in "Snow Eagle" but this one has the Antoria decal on the white hs face, so it's most likely factory. The downside to playing an original '76-'77 is that they weigh in at 11lbs! (~ouch~)

Here's another awesome white bass - this is a later rendition of the Burns of London Bison from the early '60s. It too is a heavy beast.
