C'thulu, Darkstrike isn't the only here who's nice to you. I appreciate your opposite thoughts of mine.

I'd agree with you there.Opposite?
I thought you were as mad as I am going in the same direction.
Okay, so were equally mad with different headings.![]()
Yup, that's true.
Because of that, you are my only friend here on TalkBass.
Actually that is bad news for you.![]()

I'm not a fan of the CV's pastel blue either, but there's no denying its got tone!Yup, cause I like his blue bass.
It must be that creamy pastel blue on the Squier 60s CV that I don't like.
Regardless of color, that Squier was an awesome bass when it came to sound.
Drat, all my Blackadder quotes involve cunning foxes,TALLY HO! You mad Irish royster doyster you!![]()

I'd agree with you there.
By the way, how do you like the Line 6 pre-amp?
I myself am getting a Tech 21 SansAmp for my pre-amp.
We need to start a "Lonley Hearts" Thread for ya!![]()

Oh, and in on topic news, my Squier P-Bass TB(the mudbucker one) is getting a mod, and I might be buying a new P bass in April, I need(want:rolla good five string.

The Mark Hoppus?!I got a P-bass so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a jazz.
Three way series/parallel/single, *hopefully* in single mode it'll have a Darkstarish sound, as it'll still be a huge output pickup.Cool. Darkstar pickup?![]()
5-string P-bass? ....
Man, you're on a frenzy.
Enjoy!![]()
The neck, while longer, should be smaller overall, which is what I want in a 5.My guess would be Ice Blue Metallic
I know You probably rarely hear this, but I played a gig through my teacher's Tech 21 SansAmp rackmount RBI preamp through a Samson 1200 Power amp and a GK 4x10 cabinet, and I have to say the tone was impressive.I made a thread about looking for a new amp in the amp section.
In short: the POD is a great toy, but I'm in the process of forming a new band and I need something more simple and straight forward.
I might be getting a Paradriver also maybe, still not sure what amp I should get. (GK, Hartke,... preamp?...)

My days of pickguard indecision are over. Just picked up this lot on the bay to add to my already expanding collection.

Now maybe I can figure out what guard I truly want on my bass.
