This sexy little thing is a parts bass, but she's hot!

those black knobs really make a nice contrast!!

I got my MIJ 62RI Pbass in on Thursday. I have since played it in a band setting twice. It is simply perfect for my needs. I was concerned about using flats, since I never have before, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try them before changing over to my normal roundwounds. Well let’s just say, that won’t be happening for a while. I thought the flats+pbass sounded perfect for my environment. The Agi db359 compliments the tone of the bass really well also.

I will try to take pictures soon. I put a mint green PG on it, which I like, but might switch over to tortoise.

Anyway, I’m officially in this club!

Als ge een camera hebt of ene kunt lenen maak dan wat fotos van je eigen materiaal.

People here like to look at pictures rather than read. :)
If you have taken several pictures of your gear (bass, amp, all togheter,...) load them up to a site like www.photobucket.com

this is my account: http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll59/CthulhuTB/

Always handy to have pictures ready. :)

Now to get back on track with precision basses again, here is my TF again in his coffin.

I walked into Guitar Center on Saturday afternoon to kill some time while my wife was doing some shopping, and I saw this hanging on the wall marked at $799 "Used":

Apparently, someone bought it and then returned it after the 30-day return period without ever taking it out of the case. But it is indistinguishable from new ... even down to the plastic on the pickguard:

and the case candy package wasn't even opened:

I'd been contemplating buying a P-bass, and while I hadn't planned to get a new bass that day, there was no way I could pass up that deal, especially since the price of the new ones was going up to $1400+ the next day. So now I have a new addition to the Fender family!
