Did you ever spend 45 minutes writing and editing a post for TB, only to have nobody reply to it and watch it disappear down to page 6 :p!? Well, I think I've just had that experience with the thread about my new Fender Custom Shop '61 P Bass :smug:.

That one's not a "relic" job..

That's 43 years of :bassist:

It's a late 1964 model.

It gets used pretty regularly. I still gig with it on occation, (as pictured earlier in the thread) and use it in the studio.

Here's another "working" shot with it from a month or 2 ago.
