Wow, I think that's the first time I've heard Pete Farndon's name mentioned on TB. :cool:

One of my all time favorite players.

I'm gonna go throw The Pretenders first record on right now!

Those first two records were some of the best stuff to come out of that time period IMO.
Heh, I've seen him mentioned in Bassists once or twice, but he's definitely underappreciated. I had tickets to see them right as Pretenders II was released, but the show got cancelled. And the rest is history.:bawl:

Old pic when I had my D'Addario Slowwounds on... I love those strings. 1978/79 Fender P transition model. Now it has a nice worn in set of Chromes. I want another P bass with rounds for recording... I was listening to one of my band's songs in the car and I recorded it with that P... sounded amazing. Nothing sits in the mix like a P. :)
