I've seen savit post that P before, I believe it's mid-'60s. (Thus, real wear, not relic'd.)

That one's not a "relic" job..

That's 43 years of

It's a late 1964 model.

It gets used pretty regularly. I still gig with it on occation, (as pictured earlier in the thread) and use it in the studio.

Here's another "working" shot with it from a month or 2 ago.

EDIT: Oh what the hell, here's color "working" shot too from Dec.

Thanks....the bridge is a Gotoh 206...string through option. I actually don't like it much.....but it is the only one I have around right now.....it is bulky, with lots of sharp edges and the allen screws stick up too far.......the Gotoh 201 is better for me. Peace, John

the P is like i standard in my eyes... is a real bass!!!

even my old ibanez silev serie jazz from 77' had a P neck...

right now i have 3 P basses... non is fender of course!!! one has a maple neck and i have nickel roundeounds on him( he is the slaper), trhen i have two with rosewood... one is fretless and one with pyramid gould flats...

even all my self made basses are bassed around P bass philosophy...

i only wich to know how to post pictures up here???
