Problem with those darned Sperzel tuners is that when you cut the strings it leaves 'em too short to put on other basses which I thought I might want to do with those GHS flats. I'll be careful though Mom....ow! dang

'51 re-issue CIJ. Swapped out the dual saddle bridge with a 4 saddle American Standard bridge. Replaced the original pup with a SD 1/4 pounder. Replaced the dome top knobs with the original BARREL knobs off my '76 P. It's about 8 1/2 pounds of beautiful simplicity. Strung with Sadowsky Nickle round mediums.

2 of 3: This is my main player. '99 MIA Standard with 1/4 pounders. Again like my CIJ '51 re-issue, about 8 1/2 pounds. Great piece of ASH..(relating to another recent thread...) Strung with Sadowsky med Stainless rounds...
